Guidelines for Care

 

I am a state licensed and Board Certified Nurse Midwife. I practice by specific practice guidelines which are available for your review.

 

Listed in these guideline are specific criteria for collarboration, consultation and transfer of care as indicated by client conditions.

 

For example, if you develop pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, hypertension or a major anomaly is detected in the baby prenatally, you will be transferred to medical care, as this is where you can receive the best care for your condition.
